WP4 will begin by linking observed migration patterns to environmental indicators, all while considering broad policy shifts (identified in WP6) to provide context to the choice of micro- and meso-coping strategies. Then, a newly generated dataset of coping strategies and adaptation solutions will be created through interviews, focus groups and stakeholder dialogues in selected regions. This will be complemented by statistical modelling to identify the key factors that influence the probability of migration in studied areas. WP4 will result in an inventory of positive and perverse micro- and meso-level coping adaptation strategies. Preliminary findings will be shared with WP6 and WP7, and integrated into follow-up visits and exchanges with local stakeholders.
