An agronomist by training, Marina Ogier has been working in international development organizations for over 20 years and has lived and worked in Cuba, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Mali, Ecuador and Guinea Conakry. She has been with CARE France since 2014 and has the dual responsibility of managing all CARE France’s programs in over 30 countries and acting as a gender expert and advisor for the organization. She is also co-lead of CARE International’s Gender Network. Marina has proven technical competencies in participatory methods, gender, and research oriented on user needs.
Marina Ogier will contribute her gender expertise to HABITABLE, taking part in the Work Package on Gender and Social Equity (WP8) to further promote the integration of gender and social equity considerations into climate change research, policies and programming.
HABITABLE aims to significantly advance our understanding of the current interlinkages between climate impacts and migration and displacement patterns, in order to better anticipate their future evolutions.
