CARE France

Marie Leroy is a development project manager with over 8 years international experience in the areas of climate change adaptation, resilience building and rural development. She is the Climate Advisor of CARE France, ensuring the integration of climate change adaptation considerations across all programs, through developing resources and capacity building tools for colleagues.  She also managed the multi-country Where the Rain Falls programs, aimed at addressing the interrelated issues of climate change, food insecurity and human mobility. Previously, Marie coordinated a multi-country climate mitigation program in Southeast Asia for the UN Environment. Marie Leroy holds a masters in Climate and Environmental Policy from Sciences Po in Paris.

For HABITABLE, Marie Leroy will coordinate CARE France’s contribution and lead on stakeholder engagement tasks, thriving to ensure inclusivity and accountability across all project components.
