Degree in Political Sciences (1995). Post Graduate Course on International Protection of Human Rights (1996).
He holds a PhD in International Order and Human Rights (2002) from the Sapienza University of Rome. He is currently a Researcher of International Law and Aggregate Professor of International Law of Human Rights at the Political Sciences Department (Sapienza University of Rome).
Visiting Professor at University of Applied Sciences Würzburg – Schweinfurt (2016). Teaching experiences: International Organization, International Law and European Union Law. He is Member of the Scientific Board of the Master in International Protection of Human Rights “Maria Rita Saulle” (since 2004). He was also Research assistant of the Italian Constitutional Court (Nov. 2005- Jul. 2011).
Member of the editorial board for Scientific Journals: AWR Bulletin, Quarterly on Refugee Problems (2011-2013), Ordine Internazionale e diritti umani (since 2014) and Nomos-Le attualità nel diritto (since 2018).
He has published in the fields of International Law and Human Rights Law. Within the HABITABLE Project, he participates in the activities of WP6.
HABITABLE aims to significantly advance our understanding of the current interlinkages between climate impacts and migration and displacement patterns, in order to better anticipate their future evolutions.
