Frédéric Satgé is a researcher at French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD) and an expert in monitoring water resources from satellite data. He is a specialist in satellite-based precipitation estimates as well as other climate variables such as temperature and evapotranspiration. Based on these data sets, he develops modeling approaches to disentangle human activities and climate variability on water resource availability. His research aims to promote sustainable adaptation to the current context of climate change and population growth.
HABITABLE aims to significantly advance our understanding of the current interlinkages between climate impacts and migration and displacement patterns, in order to better anticipate their future evolutions.
