Florian Debève is Executive Project Manager at Hugo Observatory, within the University of Liège, working on environmental geopolitics and migration dynamics. Before joining the Hugo Observatory, he also worked on wildlife conservation at WWF; and on energy efficiency financing, at Climate Alliance. He has been involved in several European research projects (H2020) on these various issues and has significant experience in coordinating international collaborative projects
He holds a joint master’s in political science and international relations from Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) and Tongji University (China). He also holds a master’s in environmental management from the Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium).
HABITABLE aims to significantly advance our understanding of the current interlinkages between climate impacts and migration and displacement patterns, in order to better anticipate their future evolutions.
