During the 3rd HABITABLE Annual Meeting happening next week in Ghana, the Centre for African Wetlands will host a thought-provoking seminar on the complex interplay between climate change and human geography.
The seminar, “Changing Places: Migration and Climate Change”, will be presented by Professor Neil Adger, a distinguished expert in Human Geography at the University of Exeter.
As climate change is reshaping the world’s economic landscape and driving climate-related migration, this seminar will explore the emerging challenges and provides insights on how societies can adapt:
HABITABLE aims to significantly advance our understanding of the current interlinkages between climate impacts and migration and displacement patterns, in order to better anticipate their future evolutions.
