Sam McCulloch-Jones has been a Senior Researcher (Social Scientist) at the CSIR Water Centre since September 2023. She holds a PhD in Conservation Science, with her academic background rooted in Natural Resource Management. Her primary focus is on utilizing social science methodologies to understand and explore environmental management and governance within a social-ecological systems framework.
Sam’s experience spans interdisciplinary research, working in multi- and transdisciplinary teams, stakeholder engagement and facilitation, qualitative data analysis, project management, and monitoring and evaluation. She is particularly passionate about learning and facilitating social learning events in multidisciplinary settings with stakeholders from various sectors of society.
Since joining the HABITABLE team in September 2023, Sam has been actively contributing to the aims and objectives of WP4 and WP6.
HABITABLE aims to significantly advance our understanding of the current interlinkages between climate impacts and migration and displacement patterns, in order to better anticipate their future evolutions.
